దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఇటీవల నాలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఐదు అసెంబ్లీ స్థానాలకు ఉప ఎన్నికలు జరిగిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. సోమవారం (జూన్ 23) వెలువడిన ఫలితాల్లో ఆమ్ ఆద్మీ పార్టీ (AAP) భారీ విజయాలతో మెరిసింది. ఫలితాల్లో బీజేపీకి కేవలం ఒక్క చోటే విజయం లభించగా, ఆప్ రెండు చోట్ల, కాంగ్రెస్, టీఎంసీ ఒక్కో స్థానాల్లో గెలుపొందాయి.

ఇలాగే చూస్తే, ఆప్ రెండు చోట్ల విజయం సాధించడంతో పార్టీ శ్రేణుల్లో ఉత్సాహం నెలకొంది. ఇటీవల ఢిల్లీ అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో తీవ్ర పరాజయం ఎదురైన ఆప్‌కు ఈ విజయాలు కొత్త ఊపును అందించాయి.
మరోవైపు బీజేపీ కేవలం గుజరాత్‌లో ఒక్క స్థానాన్ని మాత్రమే నిలబెట్టుకోగలగడం రాజకీయంగా పెద్ద దెబ్బ.
